Mallika Chopra, media entrepreneur and published author, will be the next speaker to visit Fresno State for the President’s Lecture Series.
Mallika is the author of eight books, including "Living With Intent - My Somewhat Messy Journey to Purpose, Peace and Joy". In this book, Mallika shares insights she gained while seeking meaning and balance as a mom and entrepreneur who felt she was overwhelmed by work, family and too many responsibilities.
As the daughter of the meditation and mindfulness pioneer Deepak Chopra, Mallika brings these habits to children in her Just Be Series - Just Breathe, Just Feel, and Just Be You - a trilogy of illustrated how-to books for children (and the adults in their lives). These books provide simple tools to understand and support social and emotional knowing, resilience, meditation, mindfulness and self-reflection.
Her lecture ‘Living with Intent’ will take place at 5 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, at the Resnick Student Union. A question-and-answer session will follow the lecture. A livestream option is also available.
The event is free and open to the public. To register to attend or receive the livestream link, visit president.fresnostate.edu/presidents-lecture-series.html.
