Following a national search, Fresno State has appointed Martina Granados as associate vice president for Strategic Enrollment Management and Dr. Ruby Sangha-Rico as associate vice president for Student Success Services. Both leaders have served in interim roles and bring extensive experience, a deep commitment to student success and a strong connection to the university. Their appointments reflect Fresno State's continued investment in advancing enrollment, student achievement and institutional excellence.
Martina Granados
Martina Granados is a first-generation college graduate and two-time Fresno State alumna with more than 25 years of enrollment management experience and a strong commitment to expanding educational opportunities across the Central Valley. Under her leadership, Fresno State exceeded enrollment goals while growing key initiatives such as Bulldog Bound, Bulldog Bound Transfer and LaunchPad.
In her role, Martina provides executive leadership for Admissions and Records, Financial Aid and Scholarships, Recruitment and Special Programs and federally funded TRIO and pre-college programs. She will continue leading the university's strategic enrollment efforts through innovative programs, strong community partnerships and student-centered approaches that improve college access and success.
Dr. Ruby Sangha-Rico
Dr. Ruby Sangha-Rico is a three-time Fresno State alumna who has played a key role in advancing student success, retention, belonging and degree completion. She has led major initiatives, including the creation of the Student Success and Belonging Center and the expansion of Learning Center services.
Sangha-Rico provides strategic leadership for a comprehensive portfolio of student success programs, including the Educational Opportunity Program, Learning Center, Student Success and Belonging Center, Career Development Center and TRIO Student Support Services programs. She is aligning these efforts with Fresno State's Strategic Plan, the CSU Student Success Framework, and divisional priorities to maximize student achievement and institutional impact.
Known for her collaborative and data-informed leadership, Sangha-Rico will continue advancing Fresno State's student success goals through strategic partnerships, evidence-based practices and innovative support programs that help students thrive from enrollment through graduation.
