Please join University Advancement in welcoming two new directors of development. We’re thrilled to have them join us in supporting student success at Fresno State.
C.J. Haydock is now the director of development for the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.
Haydock is an award-winning educator, administrator and coach who brings fundraising and philanthropic partner relations experience from Fresno Pacific University to this new role. He has been recognized for his inspirational leadership and is dedicated to student success.
He is a Fresno native who holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from Fresno Pacific and has completed coursework towards a master’s in teaching at National University.
Haydock is excited to join the Fresno State community and to apply his collaborative team approach to the work of increasing support across the campus for student initiatives, programming and enrollment.
Cher Arambel is now the director of development for the College of Science and Mathematics.
Arambel brings experience in nonprofit development and journalism to Fresno State, along with success in grant writing and fundraising, having worked most recently for the Kings River Land Trust as director of outreach and development.
Raised in the Central Valley on her family’s ranch, she earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and journalism, as well as a certificate in grant writing, from Fresno State.
Arambel is excited to bring her energy and storytelling skills to Fresno State, connecting alumni, friends, industry leaders, philanthropic partners and the broader community around the support of students and research.
