Marlene Frye passed away on Sept. 3. Known for her smile, she retired after 35 years with the university, first as a student and then as staff, from the Office of the President in 2015.

The Mass of Christian burial will take place at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15. More information can be found here.

Kevin McCully passed away on Aug. 25 after a courageous battle with a long illness. A family-oriented and artistic person, McCully began working at Fresno State in 2002. He served in financial aid and scholarships as well as admissions and recruitment and retired from the university in 2019.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15, at All Nations Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1135 E. Alluvial Ave. in Fresno, with a reception to follow at the church. More information can be found here.
