The Fresno State Asian Faculty and Staff Association was founded in 2008 to work on issues, activities and programs that enrich us all as professionals and support student success.
It is with great pleasure that we introduce the 2023-24 executive board:
- President: Dr. Ahran Koo, associate professor of art education
- Vice President and president-elect: Dr. Jenny Banh, associate professor of Asian American studies and anthropology
- Secretary: Dr. Ting-fen Lin, assistant professor of communicative sciences and deaf studies
- Treasurer: Dr. W. Saam Noonsuk, associate professor of Asian art and archaeology
- Activities Program Co-Chairs: Dr. Danny Kim, assistant professor of Asian history, and Dr. Amrit Deol, assistant professor in Asian American studies
- Historian Reporter: Dr. Yang Sao Xiong, assistant professor in Asian American studies and anthropology
- Student Liaison Co-Chairs: Randy Aoki, in the Provost's Office, and Dr. Veena Howard, professor of Asian religious traditions
- Public Relations Chair: BoNhia Lee, communications specialist in University Marketing and Communications
- Fundraising and Recruiting Chair: Dr. Bao Johri, vice president and chief information officer
- Technology Chair: Neil Tung, lecturer in Agriculture Business
