Born and raised on her family’s dairy farm in Hanford, Madeline Pedro graduated from Fresno State in spring of 2016 ready to pursue her dreams beyond the country life she was accustomed to.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in recreation administration with an emphasis in sports and entertainment facility management, Pedro moved to Pasadena for an internship in event management with Rose Bowl Stadium.
Eager to find a job after her internship, Pedro completed a successful job search through teamworkonline.com — a website tailored to the sports and entertainment industry.
In December 2016, she began working as a stadium operations assistant for the Denver Broncos Stadium Management Company, which has gained her invaluable experience.
“The more exciting part of my job is I was just recently promoted to the lead in the command center for all of our major events,” Pedro said. “Basically, what the command center does is it monitors the event inside and outside the stadium and controls the security functions for that specific event.”
