The October 2017 issue of the Fresno Bee's Central Valley Magazine featured an article on memories preserved by the the Central California War Veterans Oral History Project.
The Central California War Veterans Oral History Project was started in spring 2010 by Dr. Gary Rice (MCJ) to gather oral histories from veterans of all wars. The veterans’ accounts were recorded and transcribed by Fresno State students who followed accepted national guidelines and standards for oral histories.
The audio recordings and transcripts are kept permanently at the Library and are available to the public.
The Fresno State Madden Library is a proud partner of the Central California War Veterans Oral History Project.
