Works Above and Beyond
Office of Environmental Health, Safety and Risk Management
I would like to recognize and thank Jaime Horio, John Hung and Leticia Renaud, our Environmental Health, Safety and Risk Management Office, for their outstanding support during Vintage Days. Their team went above and beyond by personally contacting vendors and insurance agents, reviewing insurance documents, and ensuring all required coverage was secured and compliant. Their willingness to take an active role in this process helped relieve a significant amount of work that needed to be done and ensured everything was completed on time. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and partnership were instrumental to the success of Vintage Days, and I am truly grateful for their support.
Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Dean's Office
A High Five to Karine Frnzyan, Dean Rolston St. Hilaire, students Gabriela, Kadin and Morgan, and the team at the Gibson Farm Market and Winery for generously hosting an agricultural campus tour during Fresno State's hosting of the CSU Communicators Summit. As the host campus, University Marketing and Communications welcomed nearly 100 communications and marketing professionals from across the 22 CSU campuses and the Chancellor’s Office in early June for several days of professional development and collaboration. Because many attendees were interested in learning more about the Central Valley’s agricultural landscape, the Jordan College team created a unique tour experience that showcased the Gibson Farm Market and Winery, as well as Fresno State’s agricultural fields and operations. The team also provided Jordan College gift bags for attendees, which were a tremendous hit. Thank you for your partnership, hospitality and willingness to share one of Fresno State’s greatest strengths. You helped create a memorable experience for our guests and showcased the university at its very best.
