Works Above and Beyond
Whitney Cambric, Student Affairs and Enrollment Management
Whitney has been exceptionally helpful, patient, and supportive with all of my questions and concerns. She's very knowledgeable and understanding and goes above and beyond by answering complex questions quickly and even following up by email or offers to meet if needed. She's professional and hardworking, and we are lucky to have her in DOSAEM!
Nate Gapasin, Academic Resources
I have been part of California State University, Fresno for two months, and during such time have absorbed new roles and responsibilities. During my short tenure, Nate has consistently made himself available (at short notice) providing meritorious service while serving as a trainer and mentor. Specifically providing assistance with navigating multiple systems, forms, Fresno State Foundation, points of contacts, Phase 1 and Phase 2, along with other nuances while still completing his primary role. Nate's unswerving determination, wise judgment and complete dedication to duty reflects credit upon himself and upheld the highest standard of professionalism.
Steven Orr, Library- Digital Services - Information Technology
Upon my short two month tenure with Fresno State, the task of streamlining our hiring of student assistants needed a major overhaul. Steve's complete ownership, dedication, and motivation utilized Kuali build to maximize efficiency of hiring student assistants. His efforts directly contributed to the fair and equitable hiring. Steve's exceptional competence, personal initiative, and total dedication to duty reflects credit upon himself and were in keeping with the highest standards of professionalism.
Saved My Bacon
Edgar Parrilla, Research and Graduate Studies - Sponsored Programs
Big High Five and kudos to Edgar for saving my bacon this week. Edgar helped provide data for a grant submission that was needed. It was a very last-minute request, and I am grateful that he took the time to produce the report I needed. Edgar's help is a true reflection of our Principles of Community, specifically "We are Collaborative" in that we worked together to achieve a common goal. Thank you for being awesome!

She has helped me with everything from how to word a particular flyer to assisting me with working on our department's website. Yesenia always provides incredible assistance with a smile and high energy.
Denise Pearcy, Printing Services
I often come to Denise with last minute urgent projects, and she is always super helpful and gets it done. She has saved my bacon more than once and is always a pleasure to work with!
Nick Petitti, Technology Services
One cloudy day, Team Dynamics and I were not getting along. Luckily Nick was there to resolve the issues. He even helped fix my form and my random mistakes. Nick also answered all my sporadic questions. The clouds were still there, but the day was much brighter, thanks to Nick!
