Last week, the Chancellor’s Office advised Fresno State that CSUBUY P2P will launch on Tuesday, Sept. 5, instead of July 5. The rescheduled implementation date is necessary to allow time for some system security access requirements to be resolved. This is good news as it will give us more time to ensure our campus community experiences a successful implementation of CSUBuy P2P.
All training that was scheduled for the month of June will be rescheduled to August. Details will be provided as soon as we can.
The later date will change our transition and fiscal year-end plan:
- Please delay submitting fiscal year 2023-24 Requisitions until Sept. 5 when you will enter them into CSUBuy P2P.
- We will automatically extend your current Blanket Purchase Orders (PO) to Aug. 31. We will reach out to you if we need you to process an Alteration to increase the PO amount.
- If you have any Agreements for services and/or software that are effective in July, we will need a current Purchase Requisition form for those types of purchases and you can submit those to Procurement now.
Note: this does not include services of document shredding, water service, etc. Procurement will automatically extend those Purchase Orders to Aug. 31.
- Requisitions for products that need to be placed before Sept. 5 can be submitted on the current Purchase Requisition form at any time (technology equipment, classroom equipment/supplies, etc.).
- Direct Pays and PO Invoices should continue to be approved and routed as we are currently operating for now.
If you have any questions, contact Brian Cotham at bcotham@mail.fresnostate.edu.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during our CSUBuy P2P transition and we look forward to a successful implementation.
