The AI Conversation is a new webinar series hosted by Bao Johri, vice president for Information Technology and chief information officer, launching this fall.
The series spotlights the creative, practical and impactful ways faculty and staff use artificial intelligence (AI) — from enhancing classroom experiences and streamlining administrative processes to transforming research methods and fostering experimentation.
Each 30-minute episode will feature a faculty or staff member sharing their unique approach to integrating AI into teaching, research, operations and daily campus life. But The AI Conversation is more than a showcase — it's a space for thoughtful dialogue, reflection and learning. It's a place to ask questions, challenge assumptions and explore how we can use AI responsibly, ethically and effectively.
All faculty and staff are welcome to participate in discussions that aim to:
- Encourage the thoughtful integration of AI across higher education.
- Inspire cross-disciplinary exploration.
- Foster conversations about ethics, academic integrity and institutional strategy.
- Collaborate to build a campus culture where AI is understood, embraced and applied with care.
