All are invited to attend a listening session hosted in partnership with our recruitment firm, Academic Search, to help guide us as we begin our search to fill a critical role of Chief Diversity Officer at Fresno State. This is a Cabinet-level position, as its importance to the campus and our region is fundamental.
The listening tour meetings aim to gather the information needed to develop a prospectus/profile for the search. A significant element of the profile is the leadership agenda. The agenda will list the credentials, skills, abilities, and experience required of a competitive applicant for this opportunity. In addition, please provide feedback on what critical deliverables you have in mind with the hiring of this important position. What are some of your ideas on how this individual can lead Fresno State’s more inclusive and dynamic community?
We will use this information in our efforts to recruit the best candidates for our campus. Similarly, applicants will use this information to determine the appropriateness of their skills, abilities, experience, and passion for the opportunities presented by the position. The content of the leadership agenda will also form the core of the tool used by the search committee to evaluate and rate candidate credentials.
Your perspective and feedback are welcome in this process, and we would encourage you to attend if you are able. Please find information on the listening sessions below.
