We welcome Juan Fonseca as the new coordinator for the Renaissance Scholars Program. Juan previously served as the program's academic counselor for the past three years.

The Renaissance Scholars Program serves students who are former or current foster youth and students who are considered certified independent (unaccompanied youth, McKinney-Vento, self-supporting, emancipated, adopted youth). Juan is committed to Fresno State's mission of creating a supportive educational environment where students feel empowered and have a sense of community. Juan's efforts are helping students rewrite their life narrative, break cycles and inspire those who follow their footsteps.
