Procurement and Accounting Services are excited to announce CSUBUY, a systemwide initiative that will increase efficiencies, streamline purchasing and payment processes and increase revenues.
CSUBUY is a collaborative Procure to Pay one-stop marketplace with approximately 23 vendors (eg. Amazon Business, Staples). Campus departments will be able to order directly from CSUBUY vendors using their department ProCard. The program will officially launch on Nov. 2.
There are a few immediate actions each department must do to help with this transition.
- All departments must have at least one ProCard which will be used to make eligible campus purchases. If your department does not have a ProCard please identify the individual who will be assigned this responsibility and complete the application found HERE.
ProCard holders will be set up in CSUBUY as requesters. Any employee within the department can be a shopper and requestors will review and approve all CSUBUY purchases. The expense will be tied to the department’s ProCard.
-
Department ProCard holders will also be set up with an Amazon Business account. We have noted that several employees are using their Fresno State email address with a personal Amazon account. This will complicate and delay the campus conversion process to Amazon Business. If you currently have a Fresno State email address (@csufresno or @mail.fresnostate.edu) connected to a personal Amazon account, please log in and update your account with a personal email address.
- Effective Nov. 2, new guidelines will be in place for all campus purchases moving many items from direct pay to ProCards. Please review our updated Purchasing and Payment Matrix to better understand when to use a Direct Pay, Purchase Requisition and the ProCard.
Please refer questions to Brian Cotham at bcotham@csufresno.edu. Watch for CSUBUY workshops and additional resources coming in October.
