What are your True Colors? This workshop will help you determine your True Color style and will explore the different ways people understand and process information, interact with others and learn. Understanding the different styles can increase positive communication between coworkers and build effective teams. Join the conversation as we learn about ourselves, understand others and appreciate the differences! This course is offered as part of the CSU's Cross-Campus Collaboration and open to employees across the CSU. Registration is limited.

Cultural Intelligence (CQ) is the capability to relate and work effectively in culturally diverse situations. Your CQ predicts your readiness for working and relating effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds. The higher your CQ, the more likely you will gain new opportunities, earn higher wages and experience success working in today's diverse, globalized world. This webcast will explore what cultural intelligence is, why it matters at Cal State and strategies for improving your CQ. We will also discuss why it is the foundation to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Safety for the Campus Community in the Digital Age

Today, we are spending more time online and on our devices than ever before, which has created new safety risks, including for students, victims of gender-based violence and others. As such, it has become increasingly important to develop skills that prioritize our digital safety. End TAB’s interactive and engaging workshop will empower attendees to help members of the campus community navigate the digital abuse landscape and stay safe.
In this session:
- Demystifying the digital safety landscape on campus
- Issues students and other campus community members may face online today
- Why you don’t need to be a tech expert to help people stay safe in the digital age
- Having helpful and supportive conversations
- Tips on navigating and understanding tech-enabled trauma
