The California Water Institute and the Central Valley Community Foundation are co-hosting an upcoming Public Policy Institute of California event on campus — Managing Water and Farmland Transitions in the San Joaquin Valley.
Achieving groundwater sustainability is vital to the health of the San Joaquin Valley’s communities, agriculture, environment and economy, but the transition will be challenging.
Join the California Water Institute at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20 to hear from a diverse group of local and state experts that will discuss key issues and solutions to some of the Valley’s looming challenges to accomplish groundwater sustainability. The event is open to the public.
Registration is free. There is an in-person and online option to attend.
