Alejandro "Alex" Garcia Bernal, passed away on Sept. 2 in Fresno at the age of 70.

He took great pride serving the Athletics Department, which included Bulldog Stadium, Bennett Stadium at Beiden Field and the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology. His love for his work came in the form of volunteering as a chain gang member (marking down and distance) during the football season and it turned him into a season ticket holder until he passed.

Services were held on Sept. 11. A GoFundMe was set up for his family.
