Dr. Julie B. Olson-Buchanan (Management) has been named a representative to the United Nations Economic and Social Council and as chair of the United Nations Committee for the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

SIOP has NGO Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council and is the premier national and international society for scientists who conduct research and/or practice in the area of Industrial-Organizational Psychology. The group is a division of the American Psychological Association and an affiliate of the American Psychological Society.

Julie is a fellow in SIOP, as well as the American Psychological Association. She received the Top Ten Professional Women recognition from the Marjaree Mason Center in 2012 and has served on Community Food Bank’s Board of Directors for eight years, currently as vice-chair.
