Dr. Carey Higgins Dobney, assistant professor in the Media, Communications and Journalism Department, had her paper, “The Digital Journalist’s Labor Conditions in U.S. Local Television Newsrooms,” accepted for presentation at the Broadcast Educators Association’s Virtual On-Location conference in October.

Dr. Nancy Van Leuven, assistant professor in the Media, Communications and Journalism Department, presented in September at the virtual 2020 National Tribal and Indigenous Climate Change Conference about “Reclaiming Histories and Identities Through Media: Tribal Messaging about Climate Change (and Resettlement) Knowledge."
