There are a lot of moving parts involved in planning an event for 200 plus attendees, and she put together a perfect recipe for success, resulting in a memorable and enjoyable luncheon for everyone involved. On behalf of the Fresno State Latina/o Faculty and Staff Association, we wholeheartedly congratulate Martina Granados, senior director of Outreach and Special Programs, and her team for leading and planning La Féria de Educación annual conference. La Feria de Educación aims to empower thousands of Spanish-speaking parents, students, and their families by providing information and resources to help them succeed in California’s educational system. This year, thousands of families and students participated in La Feria, including guest of honor Leo González. Recently, Leo attended the White House in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month and acknowledged La Feria de Educación.
