The Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology has launched its inaugural Food, Family and Farm Month with a host of events to connect its staff, faculty and students to the community.
More than 25 events will be held through Nov. 23, including student club functions, academic presentations and public and industry outreach events that showcase the Jordan College’s seven academic departments, three research centers and 35 student clubs.
“The Food, Family and Farm Month represents an impressive cross section of the talents of our students, faculty and staff and is a wonderful way to thank our community for their dedicated support,” said Dr. Dennis Nef, dean of the Jordan College.
Food, Family and Farm Month was the inspiration of Jordan College’s Ag One Foundation, Center for Irrigation Technology, Institute for Food and Agriculture and the Viticulture and Enology Research Center. Each of these entities will host a major event during the month.
