The campus and general public are invited to fall wine tastings and related events hosted by viticulture and enology students and are part of the Jordan College’s Food, Family and Farm Month that began last weekend.

Wednesday, Oct. 22 - The student-led Enology Society of Fresno will host a meeting and wine tasting from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the campus winery (2360 E. Barstow Ave.). Cost is $10 for Fresno State students and $15 for the general public.

Friday, Oct. 24 - The Fresno State Wine Club will host its fall release party from 5 to 8 p.m. featuring several of the newest wines, including 2023 vintages of its Pinot Gris, Alicante Bouschet and Unknown Clone wines and a 2024 vintage of its Fiano wine.

Saturday, Oct. 25 and Friday, Nov. 7 - The Gibson Farm Market will feature Fresno State Winery favorites and its discounted “wine of the month” at free tasting events from 1 to 3 p.m Oct. 25 and 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 7.

Saturday, Nov. 1 - Wine tasting will be available at the Whole Vine Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on the Science II Building lawn (near the corner of Barstow and Woodrow/O'Neill Park). Admission is free for the family-friendly event that offers grape samples, educational booths, food trucks, music, art and kids activities.
- Friday, Nov. 14 - The Fresno State Viticulture Club will host its 72nd annual Fall Harvest BBQ fundraiser from 5:30 to 10 p.m., at Kings River Winery (4276 S. Greenwood Ave., Sanger). Get tickets online, and follow their Instagram page.
