The UCLA University Women's Leadership Academy for Mid-Career Professionals (2023) is a six-month program designed for courageous leaders. The Academy emphasizes building supportive relationships between members through mentoring circles. Session topics include leadership in different types of universities, Act Like a Leader, Think Like a Leader (Herminia Ibarra), strategic planning processes, adaptive leadership, aligning leadership skills to challenging situations, budget and finance, navigating the university and inclusive academic leadership. There is an emphasis on facilitating equity, diversity and inclusion. The Academy includes building effective career management tools.
