Dr. Steven Rocca, chair, animal sciences and agricultural education, received an Honorary American Degree at the recent National FFA Organization annual convention for his service and leadership the past 26 years. Among his many accomplishments at Fresno State, he has worked with over 300 students who have completed coursework to become properly credentialed teachers and mentored hundreds of students across the state and nation the past 19 years. He has also served a host of leadership roles with the California Agriculture Teachers' Association, campus Multicultural Ambassadors and Ag Ambassadors and Teach Ag Campaigns.

Dr. Veena Howard, professor for the Department of Philosophy, had her edited volume, "The Bloomsbury Research Handbook of Indian Philosophy and Gender," reviewed by scholars at the Dharma Academy of North America, held in conjunction with the American Academy of Religion, 2023.

President Saul Jiménez-Sandoval, was nominated by the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) to serve as a member of the USDA HACU Leadership Group.
