UC Berkeley’s Executive Leadership Academy (ELA)
UC Berkeley’s Executive Leadership Academy is a weeklong program designed for individuals from all backgrounds who are currently serving in administrative positions in higher education, and who are interested in preparing themselves for appointments to executive positions such as dean, vice president, provost, president and chancellor. It offers a five-day intensive training experience and is guided by a select faculty team comprised of over 25 senior-level higher education executives. The program’s 2024 sessions are now open for application, and the campus will sponsor up to three applicants for attendance.
AASCU’s Emerging Leaders Program (ELP)
AASCU's Emerging Leaders Program is designed to prepare the next generation of higher education administrators to be effective leaders; to view every decision through a diversity, equity and inclusion lens; and to further their institutions’ path to equitable student success. This program is designed for academic and administrative professionals who are exploring opportunities to advance to higher-level administrative positions. This program typically accepts one applicant per campus.
