Oct. 14 was the first Fresno State Army ROTC Alumni Tailgate and Homecoming Event held by the Department of Military Science and Leadership Army ROTC.

Hosting the pre-Homecoming football game event were two recent graduates from the class of 2016, 2nd lieutenants Ryan Carder and Anthony Mosqueda. Also hosting were Major Boyce Buckner (professor of Military Science), Master Sergeant Jose Quijas (senior military instructor) and Nancy Kobata (administrative support coordinator).

Twenty alumni attended, including members of the first Fresno State Army ROTC commissioning class of 1990, and four Army colonels. For many, it was their first return to Fresno State since their commissioning.
