On Tuesday, May 2, 113 faculty, staff, administration and students celebrated 36 nominees at the 2022-2023 Outstanding Advisor Awards reception. The atmosphere was filled with celebratory joy and excitement. Thank you to all who attended and especially to the students who came in support of their advisor.
Alexis Holladay, an advisor with the College of Science and Mathematics, gave the keynote address this year and encouraged us to continue to build a culture of collaboration as we all assist students along their educational journey.
The four award recipients each received a $1,000 stipend for Professional Development. They are:
- Misty Brazill, Division of Research and Graduate Studies
- J. Daniel Gomez Martinez, Career Development Center
- Jessica McVay, Kremen School of Education Advising Center
- Dr. Everett Vieira, Political Science Department
This campus is quite fortunate to have such a collaborative community of advisors to come alongside our students so they can achieve the goals they have set for themselves.
