At the age of 96, Robert "Bob" Facciani passed away peacefully on April 19.

For over 32 years, Bob was an athletic equipment manager supporting coaches and thousands of student-athletes not only with equipment but also with a twinkle in his eyes, a wry chuckle and a big grin. He retired from Fresno State in 1994.

A funeral Mass at his home parish for 60 years will be celebrated at St. Paul's Catholic Newman Center at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, followed by a reception and lunch. St. Paul's is just north of the football stadium at 1572 E. Barstow Ave.
