Alysha was hired in our office back in August 2022. She was a grad intern and temporary advisor in the Health and Human Services Advising Center prior to joining the COSS advising team. Alysha has been a crucial part of our team and has stepped in from day one in helping our students. She brings a very student-first mindset into her work and is invested in their success. Alysha has grown a lot in our office and has faced new work challenges that pushed her out of her comfort zone. It has been exciting to watch her grow into the new higher education professional that she is becoming.

Kevin joined the Financial Aid and Scholarships team in 2018 as a student assistant. He was a transfer student from Reedley College where he also worked in their financial aid office. He became a permanent staff member and completed his bachelor's in psychology in 2021.

Sierra joined the Financial Aid and Scholarships team in 2018. She previously worked in the financial aid office at Boise State for 10 years. She has a master's in adult organizational learning and leadership from the University of Idaho and a bachelor's in criminal justice from Boise State University.
Name: Ximena Hidalgo
Department: College Assistance Migrant Program
Current job title: Outreach and Recruitment Advisor
New degree earned this year: M.S. Student Affairs and College Counseling
Ximena obtained her bachelor's in sociology from Fresno State in 2020 along with an academic minor in psychology and a certificate in serving at risk youth. She is the first member in her family to pursue higher education and has set a path for her three younger siblings, two of whom currently attend Fresno State. Ximena is recognized for her diligent work ethic, unwavering dedication, creative mindset and exceptional leadership abilities. Having been a CAMP alumni, she has made significant contributions to the farmworker and migrant community through her involvement with CAMP for over five years, serving in various roles. As she concludes her second year as the outreach and recruitment advisor, we extend out congratulations to Ximena on the completion of her M.S. in counseling with a specialization in student affairs and college counseling. Well done, Ximena.
