On May 1, faculty, staff, administration and students joined in celebrating 17 nominees at the 2024-25 Outstanding Advisor Awards Reception. The atmosphere was filled with celebratory joy and excitement. Thank you to all who attended and especially to the students who came in support of their advisor. Dr. Bernadette Muscat, dean of undergraduate studies, gave the keynote this year and sincerely honored the campus advisors and the heart they each put into supporting students.
The four recipients of the award each received a $500 stipend for professional development. They are:
- Ivy Fitzpatrick, Kremen School of Education and Human Development Center for Advising and Student Services
- Juan Fonseca, Renaissance Scholars Program
- Krista Hall, College of Arts and Humanities Advising and Student Support Center
- Ross Whitton, College of Social Science Advising Center
Give them a hearty congratulations next time you see them.
