Fresno State’s STAR Day is right around the corner, and this year’s keynote speaker is bringing true Bulldog energy to the stage.

We’re proud to welcome Paul Loeffler, the "Voice of the Bulldogs," as part of this year’s STAR Day experience. Since 2001, Loeffler has served as Fresno State’s director of broadcasting and play-by-play announcer for football, basketball and baseball, bringing some of our most memorable Bulldog moments to life.

Beyond the field, Loeffler is a powerful storyteller. As host of the nationally syndicated "Hometown Heroes" program and co-founder of Central Valley Honor Flight, he has dedicated his work to sharing stories of service, resilience and perseverance. His passion for highlighting what brings people together reflects the same teamwork and pride we celebrate in our Fresno State All-STARs.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to experience Bulldog Athletics up close through two interactive sessions:

• Inside Bulldog Athletics – Hear from the Fresno State Director of Athletics and meet student-athlete All-STARS Jaden Carillo (football), Logan Studt (football) and Brooklyn Washington (volleyball). This engaging session includes a live Q&A moderated by Loeffler with opportunities to connect with student-athletes and get autographs.
• Fresno State Athletics Trivia – Think you know Bulldog Athletics? Or just want to have some fun and learn more? Join Eddie Hughes, Fresno State’s senior writer/editor, alongside Loeffler for a lively trivia session celebrating Bulldog history, traditions and milestones. With prizes provided by the Kennel Bookstore and a special guest alum appearance, it’s a fun way to test your knowledge and show your Bulldog pride.

From the keynote stage to interactive sessions, Loeffler's involvement brings this year’s STAR Day theme to life, highlighting the power of teamwork, perseverance and showing up to play your role in something bigger.
