The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) is inviting course proposals for summer and/or fall sessions. It offers learning opportunities for individuals 50 years of age and older and is one of 125 Osher Institutes across the country, all located at universities and colleges.
OLLI courses are taught by campus faculty and staff, emeritus professors, instructors from other colleges and universities, educational leaders and community scholars. There are no tests, papers, grades or office hours. Courses can meet once or weekly for multiple sessions and can be held in-person, via Zoom Conference or utilizing a hybrid of both.
Just as our members attend classes for the joy of learning, our instructors teach for the joy of sharing their expertise and enthusiasm for a topic with an interested and engaged group of lifelong learners. OLLI welcomes any course topics of potential interest to our members, this includes: current affairs, history, science and nature, comparative religion, philosophy, languages, technology, art, music, writing, entertainment and much more. View previous OLLI catalogs to see some course samples.
If you are interested in submitting a course proposal, access the online submission portal. If you have any questions, email osher@csufresno.edu or call 559.278.0008.
