Campus has a new addition to our team — the new survivor advocate for the Student Health and Counseling Center, Mindy Kates.
Mindy joined the Wellness Services team on Feb. 19. In her role, she will provide confidential advice, assistance and advocacy on behalf of individuals concerning sexual violence, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking. She will also be leading the Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Safety Council (ATODSC).
Mindy brings many years of experience as a social worker in crisis intervention and emergency response with Fresno County. We are excited to have her on board as a two-time alumna of Fresno State with a master's degree in social work. Mindy is committed to the mission of our University.
Welcome to campus, Mindy Kates! We are happy to have you as part of the Fresno State community.
