Joe Guerra, TRIO Student Support Services Program (SSSP)
Joe takes initiative in reviewing our operational policies and procedures to better streamline our methods. For example, has revamped our Individual Graduation Plan (IGP) form into a fillable form. This allows students to complete the form online whilst he provides the student with guidance through one-on-one meetings. In addition, he also sought out support from IT to further develop the form to make it more accessible and user-friendly. Kudos to Joe for going above and beyond!

Chris Hernandez, TRIO Student Support Services Program & Student Support Services Veterans
Chris has been instrumental in helping our TRIO SSSP and SSSV programs transition our student application to online forms using Qualtrics. He has dedicated time to educate and support our staff to better understand the beneficial features of Qualtrics. His patience in helping us resolve complex issues is much appreciated and we are grateful for his continued support!

Gena Strang Behrens, Athletics
Gena Strang Behrens is an excellent asset to Fresno State Athletics. She works in the Bulldog Foundation and is a significant contributor to their team. She is a mentor to women athletes, having been a standout Fresno State athlete herself. She provides impact to Athletic Fundraising. I remember needing some last-minute help concerning a donor; Gena was flexible and accommodated our out-of-town Fresno State guest at one of the tailgate events.

Lety really cares about people, especially our students. I have personally witnessed her help even the most frustrated of students with grace and kindness. Lety works hard to make sure we all have what we need in our office. She knows an extraordinary amount of information to provide to students. Lety is always willing to lend a hand. She makes things look nice, and she takes great care in her work. None of this has waned during the pandemic. Lety continues to work as she always has and has offered us so much support.
