Join us in congratulating Jeff Prickett on his promotion to director of Facilities Operations. Jeff started at Fresno State in 2006 as an electrician and has progressively advanced throughout his career. He is recognized as a person who can troubleshoot any situation and is a natural leader; his leadership and skills have supported the campus in many situations. In this role, Jeff will oversee Facilities and Engineering Operations, Facilities Services (Custodial and Landscape and Grounds) and the Service Center.

Welcome David Sawyer, our new assistant director of Procurement and Public Works, effective Sept. 1. David has over 15 years of experience in various procurement-related positions and most recently served as the director of Procurement and Contract Services at California State University, Stanislaus where he was responsible for all campus public works projects (minor and major capital projects). David serves as the president of the CSU Chief Procurement Officers Association and has also served as a lead mentor of the Chancellor’s Office Training Team.

Join us in congratulating Cherie Weber in her new role as the general accounting and reporting manager. Cherie is a graduate of UC Riverside with a B.S. in business administration and received her CPA license in 2004. Cherie worked for eight years in public accounting (audit practice) before joining Fresno State 14 years ago in the general accounting office where she has supported the Athletic Corporation as well as other campus operations. Her extensive knowledge of our campus will be an incredible asset in her new role.
