Dr. Khampha Thephavong is the new director of Medical Services for the Student Health and Counseling Center. She will officially start on Wednesday, August 2.

Dr. Thephavong brings with her many years of clinical experience as a physician. Having worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Community Care Medical, Belmont Medical, UCSF and Fresno Community Hospital, she brings a wealth of knowledge and practice in providing comprehensive medical services to diverse populations. Dr. Thephavong also actively volunteers for various causes and is engaged in the work of numerous organizations in the community, including the Laotian-American Community of Fresno. As an alumna of Fresno State, she is deeply committed to the mission of our institution.
