Get to know Cynthia Wood, who has been on campus almost 36 years.

Some of you may know Cynthia, but do you know she just loves a good steak with baked potato?

1. How long have you been on campus?
My first day of employment on campus was August 31, 1981.  (almost 36 years ago)


2. What is your position?
I work in the administrative unit of the viticulture and enology program and my current job focuses on outreach, education, and events for the grape and wine industry, alumni, and students.

3. How many different areas have you worked on campus?
I have always been employed by the viticulture and enology program, starting with the Viticulture Research Center, and the Viticulture & Enology Research Center and Department of Viticulture & Enology.

4. Favorite thing about campus?
Being a part of a good team and making many life-long friends with the students, staff, faculty, and alumni I've had the pleasure to work with.

5. Favorite food?
A good steak, baked potato, veggies and salad.

6. Favorite color?
Dark blue

7. Favorite quote?
One of my favorites is, "Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching."  C.S. Lewis.  Another favorite is "Teamwork divides the task and multiples the success."  Unknown.
