We want to provide an update on 2026-27 financial aid processing and the timeline for awarding students for the upcoming academic year.

Due to required federal FAFSA changes and Oracle OB3 system updates, the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office has experienced delays to its normal awarding timeline. These changes required extensive testing and system updates before financial aid records could be processed.

The updated system went live on July 15, and the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office has resumed processing student records. Our office expects to begin awarding students by late July and we remain on track for the first scheduled fall financial aid disbursement on Aug. 18.

This timeline compresses several months of work into approximately four weeks. We recognize that many campus partners are eager to have awards finalized and applied to student accounts, and our office shares that goal.

If you have student awards that need to be processed, please know there will be additional delays as the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office is working to get aid ready for all students. Your patience is greatly appreciated as we navigate this compressed timeline and unprecedented situation.
