Conflict Resolution vs. Conflict Transformation
11 a.m. Wednesday, July 28
Human beings are prone to cognitive biases and heuristics. In many cases, our mental shortcuts and snap judgments can be extremely useful. Unfortunately, however, they are also the source of much conflict. In this session, discover the everyday unconscious biases each of us holds which lead to greater intrapsychic and interpersonal conflict. Learn techniques to stay aware of these biases and transition into a peace-oriented mindset.
This session is part of the CSU's Got Talent series and is facilitated by Jeremy Pollack, M.A., mediator, coach, trainer, organizational interventionist and founder, Pollack Peacebuilding Systems.
