The California State University will adhere to IRS guidelines for a standard mileage rate for business travel occurring on or after Jan. 1. The IRS mileage rate effective Jan. 1 will be 65.5 cents per mile, which is an increase from the July 1, 2022 rate of 62.5 cents per mile. Miles driven for moving purposes will remain at the current reimbursement rate of 22 cents per mile.

Please note that the OnBase Travel Expense Claim may require a manual recalculation of the mileage rate for correct reimbursement amounts, since it is limited to two decimal places only.
