Sarah Confer was appointed as the benefits manager in Human Resources, effective January 1.

Sarah is a proud alumni of Fresno State with a B.S. in criminology. Sarah has extensive experience in human resources, benefits administration, CalPERS retirement, fee waiver and leave of absence programs, including the County of San Diego where she administered benefits and leaves programs for 17,000 employees. In 2017, Sarah returned to Fresno State as a benefits analyst and has been promoted over the years to lead benefits analyst then confidential leave coordinator. Sarah was mentored by our recently retired benefits manager, Juanita Aguilar, and shares in her commitment to serve our campus community with professionalism and exceptional care through every life event.
