Georgianna Negron-Long was appointed as the organizational development manager in Human Resources, effective January 29.
In this role, the organizational development manager will collaborate with campus partners to champion and deliver high-quality and innovative training and development programs and initiatives for staff and managers that align with Fresno State’s five-year strategic plan goal to enhance personal well-being and professional fulfillment.
Georgianna has a demonstrated commitment to serving and supporting our campus community and will provide the leadership to help us re-engage the campus with robust and meaningful professional development and wellness programming. Georgianna has served as a health educator in the Student Health and Counseling Center for the past 10 years, meanwhile also serving as Joint Labor Council Chair, and a member of committees including Alegria Mental Health Task Force and Fresno State’s Strategic Plan Steering Committee. Georgianna recently earned the Staff Lifelong Learner Award and the Psychology Department Alumni of the Year Award. Georgianna has a B.A. in psychology and M.A. in general experimental psychology.
