On Nov. 8, Technology Services successfully migrated the campus community to Zoom Phone, and since then, many have shared positive comments with us. We thank you for helping make this project a success.
Please take a moment to review what is happening now and coming up next as we work to finalize the Zoom Phone project.
What is happening now?
After migration, the Avaya phones were kept for emergency purposes until the Location Services feature fully functions on Zoom Phone. Until then, the Zoom Phone should be used to make and receive calls, and the Avaya phone to make e-911 calls only. Once the Location Services feature is complete, we plan to pick up the Avaya phones.
What is coming next?
Analog Lines, including alarms, e-Phones, elevator phones, and fax lines, will be ported to Zoom Phone sometime in February. Ray Morgan fax machines are not included in the port as they are not analog-only devices.
All faculty and staff are encouraged to use Zoom Phone if they haven’t already done so. Please see the instructions below to obtain help.
Thank you for helping complete the Zoom Phone project.
