Dr. Daniel Bernard, Continuing and Global Education’s associate dean, has accepted a new position as the new dean of Extended, Professional and Continuing Education (EPaCE) at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
Bernard has taught at four separate institutions and received several teaching, research and service awards. He has a very active publication record, having conducted research with several organizations, including the National Academy of Sciences, the Central Intelligence Agency and the U.S. Secret Service.
Bernard has been connected to Fresno State for the last 20 years, having earned his master’s and bachelor’s degrees here prior to his administrative appointments. Along the way, Bernard has made many friends across our campus. Please stop by and share your best wishes with Bernard as he begins his new leadership position at Cal Poly, SLO from 2 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26 in the Vintage Room.
