Works Above and Beyond
Lori Few, Advising Center, Craig School of Business
Lori was beyond kind and compassionate when I was emailing her and she responded in a timely manner. She has helped me twice now with class scheduling and she genuinely cares about the students and their success. She is the best at what she does and absolutely appreciated.
Perla Perez-Maciel, University Advising Center
Perla recently organized and was the host of a multiple day training event and did a fantastic job. She's enthusiastic and really enjoys her interactions with her colleagues. Her work to support others in turn helps all of us better support our students. Thank you, Perla.
Mimi Nino, Advising Center, Craig School of Business
Mimi was so kind and helpful with fixing some scheduling issues I was having. I appreciated her willingness to help and her quick responses through email. She is great.
Fresno State Alumni Association
The Fresno State Alumni Association went above and beyond to organize, produce and execute the Jimmy Kimmel LA Bowl Red Wave Pregame Party at Sofi Stadium with less than two weeks notice. The team created a memorable experience for over 350 alumni and their families at the event. Kudos to a great team for their hard work and dedication to alumni engagement.
Provides Excellent Customer Service
Kyle Newman, Athletics Information Systems
Whenever you reach out to athletics IT and say "help," he is at your desk in short order and fixing the problem quickly and efficiently, always in a helpful mood even if it is for the same problem he assisted with before. He doesn't complain when one or two more colleagues in the same office say, "Hey Kyle, while you are here, how about taking care of this glitch." We appreciate you, Kyle.
Heather Van Der Paardt, University Advising Center
Heather has gone out of her way to problem solve and troubleshoot various issues related to the program she's coordinating. She tries to anticipate all issues a student might encounter and ensure she clears the way, so students have the most seamless experience possible. In addition, she provides service to our Bulldogs with a great attitude and positive demeanor. Our campus is lucky to have her contributing to our student success work.
