Professor of Art Joan K. Sharma received an honorable mention from the 2021 Tokyo International Foto Awards for her image “Lagna Ritual Ceremony for the groom in a Hindu wedding, Agra India.”

Dr. Sudarshan Kapoor, professor emeritus of social work and peace studies, accepted an invitation to be a pro bono adviser for the development and promotion of of doctoral program in interfaith studies offered by Global Ministries University.

"I accepted the invitation because of my deep interest in promoting better understanding and relations among various faith and religious traditions of the world," Kapoor said.
