The Higher Education Administration and Leadership (HEAL) graduate program is excited to announce our 4th annual Higher Education and Student Affairs in the Central Valley [HESACV] Conference. HESACV26 will be held on Fresno State’s campus on Friday, April 24.
This year’s theme, Equity, Out Loud: Collective Leadership for Just Campuses, invites higher education and student affairs professionals, scholars and graduate students to come together in community to explore how our collective voices, stories and actions shape more equitable and inclusive campuses. This year’s conference calls us to move beyond dialogue toward shared leadership and transformative practice, speaking equity into existence through collaboration, courage and care.
This conference aims to engage and connect higher education and student affairs (HESA) leaders across the Central Valley for professional development, community building, and advancing our commitments to social justice and equity across our campuses. HESA in the Central Valley provides higher education and student affairs practitioners and leaders the opportunity to present workshops, panels and training sessions highlighting high-impact practices that support students' postsecondary success in the region.
We welcome all HESA colleagues and those interested to register to attend and to submit a conference presentation proposal.
The proposal submission deadline is Sunday, March 1. Don't miss out on another chance to be in community and to learn from each other.
