The Kremen School faculty and staff volunteered at the Central California Food Bank last week.
This community service served as a team-building activity for the school, with the goal of giving back to the community.
The Kremen School filled nearly 2,000 backpacks for the March distributions to 10 schools. Faculty and staff also included inspirational messages in the backpacks.
The food bank's school backpack program helps children in need. Children are given a backpack on Fridays filled with food to last the weekend. Children then return the backpack empty on Monday and get another filled backpack the following Friday.
