The School of Nursing Community Health Mobile Unit, led by nursing faculty Dr. Kathleen Rindahl and Dr. Cyndi Guerra, will make a stop in San Joaquin (Feb. 21) and Reedley (Feb. 23) to provide free health services to those communities. The mobile unit, which launched in the fall of 2015, travels to rural communities in the Central Valley region to provide health assessments, blood pressure screenings, flu shots and health referrals and education to residents. Since its launch, over 4,000 individuals have taken advantage of the free services, which are provided by nursing faculty and students.
