Philip Lorenz International Keyboard Concerts presents pianist Jeremy Denk.
Known for the freshness and originality of his musical interpretations, American pianist Jeremy Denk has steadily built a reputation as one of today’s most compelling and persuasive artists with an unusually broad repertoire. Winner of a MacArthur "Genius" Fellowship, the Avery Fisher Prize and Musical America's Instrumentalist of the Year award, he was recently elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
“Jeremy Denk, clearly, is a pianist you want to hear no matter what he performs, in whatever combination — both for his penetrating intellectual engagement with the music and for the generosity of his playing.” (The New York Times).
